Who publishes it

A single publisher, Earning Edit, operating from Brazil, writing in English about research on platform labour, task pay and online monetization. There is no office open to visitors and no telephone line; all correspondence is written and arrives at one address.

What gets covered

A note is written when four conditions hold at once. The study names its authors and appears somewhere locatable. Its design can be inspected — a method section that says what was compared to what. It measures something specific rather than describing a direction in general terms. And it states its own limits clearly enough that a summary can reproduce them without inventing any.

The fourth condition rules out more work than the other three combined, including work with striking headline numbers. A finding whose boundaries are unclear cannot be summarised responsibly in six hundred words, and summarising it anyway is how a qualified result turns into a general claim.

How figures are handled

Every number on this site comes from a named source and appears with its unit, its period and its population attached. Where two studies disagree, both are named in the same paragraph and neither is treated as settled. Where a table appears, it lists figures that were published; no chart on this site represents an estimate produced here.

Effect sizes and earnings figures from different studies are not averaged, pooled or combined. Placing three results in one reference strip shows that the literature measures different things. It does not make them comparable, and the site says so wherever it does this.

Third person, throughout

Every page here is written about research populations rather than about a reader. No headline, sentence, list item or graphic on this site asserts, assumes or implies anything about the situation, occupation, circumstances, finances or intentions of the person reading it, and no heading is phrased as a question about a reader's life. This is a fixed editorial rule, not a stylistic preference, and it applies to every page and to any advertisement carrying this publication's name.

No accounts of individual results

This publication does not publish testimonials, customer reviews, endorsements, success stories, case studies of named individuals or before-and-after accounts, in any section of the site or in any material associated with it. It does not solicit or accept them. Notes describe study populations; where a researcher is named, it is as the author of the work, never as an example of an outcome.

How this publication advertises

Where Earning Edit is promoted through paid placements, every advertisement follows the same rules as the site:

• It describes the subject matter of the publication and nothing about the person seeing it. It makes no assumption, assertion or implication about anyone's situation, condition or intentions.
• It is written in the third person about published research, and never addresses a viewer as someone in a particular state.
• Its destination corresponds to it: a placement about a specific note links to that note, and a placement about the publication links to this ledger.
• It claims no outcome, result or consequence for anyone who reads this publication.
• It uses no urgency, scarcity, countdown or limited-availability framing.
• It contains no testimonial, review or account of an individual result.

Corrections

Errors are corrected in place rather than removed quietly. A confirmed factual error produces an amended note, a dated correction note kept at the foot of that note, and a written reply to whoever reported it. Corrections to typography, formatting and links are made without a note; corrections that change the meaning of a reported finding always carry one. Reports go to support@earningedit.online with the note title and the passage in question.

Commercial disclosure

No payment, sponsorship, commission or consideration of any kind is received from any organisation discussed in a note, and no note is commissioned or reviewed by a third party before publication. Where a study was conducted inside a firm by someone connected to that firm, the connection is stated in the note itself.

Where a paid compilation of this material is offered, it is offered directly and governed by the Terms of Access and the Refund Policy. The ledger on this site stays open and requires no payment.
